What Was in My September 2020 IPSY Glam Bag?

Hey hey, it’s MJ,

So getting this bag this month was an adventure, I know with COVID and everything else that’s going on shipping times are messed up which I get but my problem was that I got an update saying it was delivered after not having much to go on with tracking and so I went over to my mail box and it wasn’t there. Now this is not the first time this has happened because there is a building with the same number on the next street so my packages have sometimes ended up there when we get a new carrier. This was one of those times so I went to the post office, my local post office is great they are always really helpful (shout out to the Bentonville, AR post office!) and it was in my mail box the next morning.

The Bag:

Like the Glam Bag Plus this month it was a corduroy which again made me feel like I was in the nineties and I am never upset for a little bit of nostalgia, it was two tone one side the same maroon as the Glam Bag Plus and the other a mustard yellow which was giving me major 90’s vibes because I think I had a pair of pants this color in like first grade and the bag is nice and soft. Also it looks very much like Gryffindor colors so I wasn’t mad about it.

What products did I get?

Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Hydrate Primer:

This product is one of those that people swear by, I like Benefit but I don’t buy a lot of it because it’s just one of those brands that I haven’t really explored, their Roller Lash mascara is one of my all-time favorites for mascara so I know that they make good stuff. Porefessional is just one of those products that I have heard about for years just never tried, so here I get to try this teeny tiny little sample and see what I think about it. I did try it out on my hand and it soaks in quickly and that part of my hand feels really hydrated so maybe I will start using primers again because of this product, who knows only time will tell.

Pūrlisse Beauty Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream in Fair:

Normally BB and CC Creams and foundations from subscription services are a crap shoot for me because my skin is so fair so when they say fair sometimes it’s still too dark or the wrong undertone for me. This one isn’t a terrible shade match but man under the flashlight from my phone it is shimmery, it’s almost like a highlighter, I know it is a “glow” product but it’s a little much for me. Maybe when applied and things go onto it it’s better but we’ll see.

Realher Confidence in My Glow Highlighter:

It’s beautiful, I love the packaging and the shade, I have never heard of the brand but I love it so much and I have only swatched it once. It pigmented and I love highlighters so having one that I like as much as I like this one already it’s kind of great. I don’t know what else I can say beyond that because overall the effect of the packaging and the product has absolutely sold me on it.

Tarte Big Ego Mascara in black:

I don’t use a lot of Tarte’s mascaras, I have used Maneater and Lights Camera Lashes and they are both great. The brush is almost as long as the tube and figure eight shaped to an extent which usually tells me it’s volumizing so I will give it a try because I don’t think I have ever received or bought anything from Tarte that I don’t love.

P/Y/T Beauty Day-To-Night Cool Eyeshadow Quad:

I like the fact that there is a guide and the shade names on a plastic insert, normally with quads like this you don’t get those but it’s a great addition to tell your customer where they should put the shades for a day look and a night look. Most of the shades are decently pigmented, I feel like when I swatched the shade “coffee run” I didn’t get much out of it but it is the all over color so I wouldn’t expect a hugely noticeable color pay off with that because it is supposed to blend in a little more with the eye lid. The rest of the shades though are beautiful and lovely neutral shades that I really like.

So that was my bag for this month, I feel like my post for this one isn’t super informative but it’s been one of those months where I have been distracted by some things and I have been waiting for this bag to show up, literally I usually have it about a week before a post like this goes up but this one goes up on Sunday, I got the bag on Friday and I am writing it Saturday morning so it was cutting it a little close to me having to switch it with my other post for this month but here it is.

Do you subscribe? Did you get any great products this month? General thoughts? Let me know in the comments.

If you want to read any of my other openings for my Glam Bag this year, you can! January, March, April, May, June, July, and August.

I hope everyone had a great week and has a great start to almost October, I’ll see y’all with another post on Wednesday.

July 2020 IPSY Glam Bag Plus Unboxing

Hey, hey it’s MJ,

Well so July is pretty much over which is still crazy to me because I feel like it was just February but let’s be honest with ourselves time isn’t real anymore and I just don’t think the concept of time is something that defines us right now.

So the Glam Bag Plus is changing next month with three customizations, three of the five products rather and that’s insanity to me, I know it’s to give more customization to the members. I like the idea of more customization but I don’t know what next month will bring because the customization doesn’t open until the beginning of August so I will have more information and insights next month on what I personally think of the new service.

The bag like the regular Glam Bag this month was plasticky which is fine and I know the bag will be changing next month, again I will let you know. The bag is cool though it’s purple and teal with wanderlust written on it, again, very 80’s to me and I still love it. I like this one more than the regular glam bag this month but purple is my favorite color so that makes sense.

Products:

Ciaté London Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer:

I got a Ciaté watermelon product in my regular glam bag though, it was a lip oil and I wore it the whole time I was writing that blog post (which for me was yesterday but several days ago for you guys) and I actually really liked it. So this is a primer and I have so many primers now because of IPSY, like I like primers but let’s be honest you only need like two I have a good dozen and I have a lot of primers. I wish I used primers more but I don’t know how I feel about a watermelon primer but it says it’s really hydrating and that is something I for sure always need no matter what because I live in the south and it’s hot during the summer. It’s also silicone free and pore refining so I am going to give it a try.

Awake Glow Pill Super Serum:

Two of my favorite things to see on packaging is cruelty free and vegan which is always great but I am for sure getting more and more into serums, I am currently loving the Better Skin Co. Epik C Serum and it has done so many good things for my skin. I remember a time when I just had to like rinse my face and it was fine now I have like an eight step skin care routine, you can check that out if you want. Back to the serum though it has B vitamins in it and it helps hydrate so it sounds like all good things and the packaging both on the cardboard outer sleeve and the component itself so I can’t wait to try this out (for now it’s going to go in fridge so it stays fresher longer) I really do need a skin car fridge and at this point with the amount of skin care I have now I really need like a dorm fridge for all of it. I mean really.

Complex Culture Contour • Blush Brush:

I have one other Complex Culture brush and I kind of love it but this brush looks so cool! I can for sure say that I do not have any brushes that are shaped like this so it will for sure go into my main brush holder. I like how it feels and I actually redeemed my IPSY points to get another brush from this same company because I like their brushes. It is a brush and a good brush is a good brush.

Tarte SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara:

I love Tarte and that is no secret but I have never actually had a full size of their mascara, sample sizes sure but never a full sized so I am intrigued to use their mascara and this is a pretty new formula, I think. The packaging is nice and simple and it also has some of my favorite words, cruelty free and vegan. I am looking forward to getting to try it because again right now since no one is doing anything why am I going to use it and waste it so you know I will use it eventually.

Pūrlisse Beauty Matcha Green Tea Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer:

I really like Pūrlisse and I have been using it a lot recently and I am a huge fan of a lot of the products I have gotten to use from them and I know that I will more than likely like this one as well because it’s green tea and green tea is a great moisturizer and a lot of their products have white tea in them which is great for sensitive skin so I’m excited about it. Their blue lotus eye cream is my current favorite so I am excited to have the opportunity to try more products.

Overall it was a great bag, lots of skin care like mostly skin care but next month seems to present an interesting challenge and opportunity so I will report back on that next month.

Wanna see what else I’ve gotten this year? January, March, April, May, and June!

Hope you have a good week and I’ll see y’all with another post soon!

Spring 2020 FabFitFun unboxing

Hey Hey, it’s MJ,

Welcome to the first fabfitfun box of 2020 and it feels like I should be on my third box of the year because March has taken a good six months to get through and February felt just as long for different reasons. This box was a bright shiny spot in my life right now, so I am going to go through it. This box was a little different than boxes in the past because it had the option for “throwback” items which was interesting but a little strange. I don’t disagree with bringing back fan favorites after a few years so people can rediscover past favorites. It was also different because almost all if not all of the items had multiple choices instead of there being items that were in every box.

So what did I get? The first three items I chose so we are going to go through those first.

Revive Light Therapy Glo Wrinkle and Anti-Aging Light Device

Infrared light therapy is a really interesting thing, granted I don’t have a lot of wrinkles yet, I am only in my late 20’s (it’s so weird to say that). Preventative measures are always a good thing because I do try really hard to take better care of my skin and if reducing fine lines and wrinkles from laughing and smiling that is not a bad thing to look out for. It’s a three minute treatment and it shuts off after the three minutes so that’s nice that it gives you that time frame and understanding on how long you need to have it on your skin in a stationary position so you don’t do damage to your skin. The other options were the Donni: Ribbed Sweater Coat, the Caravan Diamond Woven Rug, Summer & Rose Navy Diamond Tote, the West Elm Indigo Tie-Dye Bowls, or the Elemis Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream.

Calpak Set of 3 Packing Cubes in Sorbet (or Tutti Fruity, I don’t remember)

I don’t travel much but I want to, I have always liked to travel and I love to keep things organized so having something to pack into my suitcase so I don’t actually just shove everything I’m taking with me just haphazardly into the bag and hope for the best. That is my normal trick, stuff everything in to the suitcase and hope for the best. They are mesh fronted so they have a little give to them and I am really excited to eventually have a chance to use them. The other options for choices were the Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion, Shoshanna Umbrella, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer, Tarte Tartist Pro Glow Highlight & Contour Palette (which I got in one of my first fabfitfun boxes), or the 111Skin Rose Gold Radiance Booster.

Wei Two in One Purify and Glow Mask Collection

Do I need any more masks, probably not but I chose this one anyway because I liked the look of it. I like that you get four treatments out of it with an exfoliating brown sugar exfoliating mask and then a golden root purifying mud mask. I like the brush too it feels really nice. I am excited to give it a try because I don’t have a lot of mud masks, I am much more of a sheet mask kind of human but with skin care and beauty I am willing to give like I’ve said most things a try at least once. The other options for this was the Amber Sceats Double Coin Necklace, Gravity Weighted Sleep Mask, Cosmedix Pure C, Green Goo Hibiscus Plant based Body Scrub.

Next are the set of items that are only choices for select members, one day I will do that but that day is still not today.

Stone Cole Fox Tea Towels

You can’t ever have too many tea towels, right? Well these ones are super simple in the best way, a nice clean design and a nice material that I can’t wait to wash an put in my kitchen. I really like versatile household items and having a non-beauty or skin care item is really great and something that I have missed in past boxes. The other options were the Aria Beauty Luxe Detangling Electroplated Brush, Jaboneira Marianella, Imperial Jade Body Oil, or the Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair. (which I have and I love!)

The Better Skin Co. Better Skin Epik C Serum Power Trio Complex

This was a surprise item in my box and it was a mystery so I was totally cool with getting a mystery item. I don’t use a lot of serums and many that I have used just aren’t compatible with my skin so I am excited to give this one a try. I love the packaging on The Better Skin Co.’s items and it looks like a pretty thick serum. It smells really good and a little really does go a long way. I used it on my hand first to test it out and it melts into the skin so I am hopeful that maybe this will be a serum that I can use and not have the same adverse effects that I have had with some in the past. The options in the magazine were the AG Hair Fast Food Leave-on Conditioner, Smith French Dublin Aromatic Hand Wash in Fresh Green Leaves, Lovescript Body wash, Speaqua Cruiser Bluetooth Wireless Speaker, Ciaté London Fierce Flicks Precision Tip Liquid Liner, or the Eparé Dual Salt and Pepper Mill.

This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon

I don’t want to break the seal on it because I don’t want it to go bad but I really hope that it smells like lavender or something to that end, some nice relaxing calming scent so I’m just going to have to Google it and find out, it does and I am excited it smells like lavender, chamomile, and vetiver and those are all nice calming scents and my regular night time body lotion from Bath and Body Works, which they have now discontinued is lavender based so this is still exciting to have a new lotion to try with my nighttime routine. The other option was the Whish Beauty Blue Matcha Restoring Mask.

Chic & Tonic Silicone Straws

I actually really like reusable straws, I have tried really hard to cut down on my use of single use plastics that aren’t recyclable. It’s four straws and a small pill shaped silicone carrying case. These are foldable so they are easier to take into public and use instead of a standard metal straw. The other options were the Wander Beauty Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara, or the Spongellé Body Wash Infused Buffer in “Black Orchid”.

Pūrlisse Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Polishing Peel

I love watermelon scented things and Pūrlisse has some great watermelon smelling things in their product lineup. I will have to spot test this one because it is a polishing peel but I am hopeful that it doesn’t irritate my skin. I don’t know what else to say about it until I actually get a chance to try it out. The other options were the Winky Lux Rainbow Lip Balm or the Avéne Thermal Spring Water.

I really liked my box this season even with all of the options, in this time of uncertainty having something like this in my life brings a smile to my face.

I’ll see you guys later in the week so have a good few days!

January Glam Bag Plus Unboxing

Hey hey, it’s MJ,

Welcome to my first unboxing of 2020, first time I typed that sentence I typed 2002 and I had to take a moment to realize that in 2002 I would not have been allowed to have a blog because I was in 4th and 5th grade so it would have been kind of frowned upon at that time. But beyond that this is my first unboxing of 2020 and I am going to be honest, I was not super happy with it.

I have been seeing a lot of complaining on social media for a number of beauty subscription boxes and I am not one nor will I ever be to comment under a brands post to complain, that’s not my style and it never has been. I usually keep a lot of my thoughts and views to myself but with the outlet of a blog I can give you my opinions and not feel bad about it because there is a different kind of engagement on a blog than there is on an Instagram comment section.

Let’s start with the bag, it’s really cool, that I will say and I can see myself using it because it has a wristlet strap on it which means that I could feasibly carry it that way. It’s a really nice marble and pink and I really like that.

Now on to the products, I am going to start with the fact that in a way I felt like this was just any other glam bag with the amount of product received. I am not complaining but I am a little unhappy with my selections this month, I looked and spoiled it to myself what I was getting and even though I have a beauty quiz on file and have recently updated it I feel like some of the products just aren’t of interest to me, don’t get me wrong for the most part the box was fine but it wasn’t knocking it out of the park like some in the past have been. Let’s dive into it and I will give more through answers as we go here.

Purlisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum

Okay this was one of the products that I was actually kind of excited about, I like eye creams and serums but I don’t use them enough so having one on hand from a brand that hasn’t done me dirty in the past makes me really excited to try it, I think that I got the facial cream of this same scent a while back so having both will actually be really nice for my skin care routine this year because I am planning on getting back into skin care like I did during the first part of last year. (I really want a skin care fridge but that is super boujee.)

Hanalei Company Lip Treatment in Clear

It’s a Hawaiian brand and Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart. This product is interesting to me and pretty timely because it is supposed to help with chapped lips and we are in the dead of winter where everything is just dry. It is thick and I mean thick but it’s not sticky and it feels really nice on the lips, I decided while I was writing about it to try it and so far so good.

Nature’s Cartel Lip Stick in 90’s Nostalgia

I like the packaging, I love the color name as a child of the 90’s but here’s the thing. The color is just too dark for me, I put it on and it’s just too much, too brown for my particular skin tone so this one unfortunately was a miss, which is super disappointing. I do not wear a lot of brown toned lipsticks because that has never been a shade that works for me, for other’s it probably looks amazing but it’s not something that I can pull off.

Sugar Cosmetics Wingman Waterproof Eyeliner in 01 I’ll Be Black

So last month I got an eyeliner as well and last month I reviewed it on both the blog and on ipsy’s review system saying that eyeliner wasn’t for me, it’s not and it hasn’t been since I wore a lot of like crayon eyeliner in the mid-2000’s at the height of the emo trend. I don’t wear eyeliner, I can’t do a liquid because I can’t get the wing no matter how hard I try. So getting it two months in a row was really disappointing.

Ahava Essential Day Moisturizer

I was excited about this one as well, I love Ahava and have for years ever since I worked in a nail salon in high school and the woman who owned it carried Ahava’s lotion and shower stuff. I use my intense hydration mask all the time so I know that their skin care is amazing so I am really excited to add this into my beauty routine in the coming weeks and months.

So there you have it, how I felt about my Glam Bag Plus this month, I liked it but I felt like someone really phoned it in this month. I know their theme is clean slate or whatever but actually make sure that it is a clean slate, this just felt like the clearance bin after a holiday sale, “you get what’s left over” and that’s not a good reflection on how a company should be viewed, this is one time, there is no such thing as a perfect record but November and January were both not super great. Here’s hoping that February gets better.

Do you subscribe? Any thoughts? Let me know!

I’ll see everyone soon with another post,

                        -MJ

August ipsy Glam Bag Plus Unboxing

I should stop missing a full week when it comes to posting because I have been promising myself since January but it’s been one of those years.

I got my Glam Bag Plus a few days ago and I have been sitting on writing this post since then, I loved my box this month though so let’s dive right in.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer in Fair

I was a little skeptical about anything that is “foundation” or in this case a tinted moisturizer because the shade I use is usually the lightest most brands make because I have really fair skin. I also have found that I need a cool or neutral undertone because I have more of a red undertone. This shade is not a bad match; I have had worse but it is a little too yellow undertone for me but because it is a tinted moisturizer it can be used more sparingly unlike a full coverage foundation.

Tarte Dream Big Eyeshadow Palette

I wanted this palette so bag when it came out and I never bought it so having this come in my glam bag was really great. It is going to replace my To-Go palettes because it is a nice small neutral palette and like most of Tarte’s palettes it smells great and I cannot describe why or what it smells like. Tarte has some of my favorite palettes even though I don’t have many but the Tartest Pro palette is one of my all-time favorites.

F.A.R.A.H Brushes Show Me Magic Eye Brush Set

Okay, these brushes look like crystals on the bottom and I love them so much, I don’t need more brushes really but I love brushes. This set is made up of various eye brushes so that’s really nice and they are so interesting looking that I can’t resist them. They are super soft and I have another F.A.R.A.H brush that I got in a glam bag last year and I really like that one so I can’t imagine that these will be any different.

Ahava Hydration Cream Mask

I got this product in my Winter FabfitFun box and I love it, I have used it a few times now and my skin loves it. I put it on right before bed and leave it on all night. You should only use it once or twice a week according to the packaging so it is not and every night moisturizer. If you want to read more about my feelings about this product click the link above in the paragraph for my initial opinions.

Pūrlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I got three different kinds of moisturizers in this box but I am not upset about it, Pūrlisse is a brand I only know for skin care and I have so far liked the skin care products I have tried from this brand. I don’t want to rip open the foil seal to actually smell it but I Googled what it should smell like and it came up with “fruity” so I guess we will see when I actually open it. I really hope it doesn’t have a strong smell because I don’t like strong smells in skin care.

The box overall was great and I love having the ability to try out new things and also get these items at a really steep discount. If you want to read about the other Glam Bag plus boxes I have gotten since May, you can! Just click on the month: May, June, and July

I will see everyone on Saturday!

May Glam Bag Plus Unboxing

So this is my second post of May, I have been sick for the last like week and a half and I have just been dealing with some things that have taken a front seat instead of letting them take a back seat even though I wish they were taking a back seat.

Okay on to this though, they opened up the wait list for the Glam Bag Plus last month and I jumped on it because I am a huge fan of ipsy’s service and I was really excited for the prospect of a full sized product box from this company.

Okay so honestly I didn’t really know what to expect in this box and I was pleasantly surprised and I must say for an initial box, I know that it will just get better as the service continues.

This post probably won’t be super long because I am just not in a great mood and I don’t want that to bleed into this post.

Yensa: Tone Up Primer Essential Glow:

I like it and it has really good essences in it so I am looking forward to seeing how my skin reacts to it, I have been having more breakouts recently because of stress so I am hoping that this product doesn’t make those worse. It goes on really smoothly and I am a fan of the packaging and the ingredients, it does give a very slight glow to the skin when it is put on but as it dries it sinks into the skin.

Glam Glow Bubblesheet Sheet Masks (3):

I got some of these in one of my FabFitFun boxes last year and I have used one or two now and I really like them already so getting more was a big plus in my book. They don’t bubble up a lot but it is still kind of odd to have something bubbling on your face, you don’t leave them on the length of time that you would with a regular sheet mask. These are more of a quick turnaround mask; this mask only stays on for 3-4 minutes unlike a regular mask which can stay on for 20+ minutes.

Kandee Johnson x pūrlisse Butter Me Orange Creamsicle Body Butter:

I love the packaging and I am always on the lookout for good lotions and stuff, I hoard them and then don’t use them, to be honest and I love them. It smells amazing but I haven’t used it yet if we are being honest. I didn’t even know Kandee Johnson did a collab with Pūrlisse but here it is and I can’t wait to give it a try.

Wander Beauty Wandress Seascape Eyeshadow Palette:

I have been following Wander beauty on Instagram for probably six months now but I have never purchased anything from them. So when I found out that there was a potential for a Wander Beauty product with the may Glam Bag Plus I was excited. I really like the colors in the palette, now I have swatched them and they are a little cakey but on a brush it may be a completely different story. I am not usually a wearer of blue eyeshadows, not for years now but the blue called Coastal in this palette is beautiful. It makes a nice little palette for travel if you took a matte single shadow to go with it.

Illamasqua Lip crayons in Media and Lust:

I have really only dove into lip pencils recently and I don’t’ have all that many, I think I have two if we are being completely honest so I was actually really excited when I saw the lip pencils in this box. The colors are beautiful and they go on very smoothly. Media is a more pinky coral shade and Lust is a redder/berry shade so they would go with a bunch of different shades because they are more neutral when it comes to their specific colors. I am not saying neutral in general but a more neutral pink and red so they go with various shades of pink and red.

Overall it was a great first box and I am excited to see what is coming in the upcoming months, ispy continues to do a great and consistent job when it comes to their subscription services and their products.

Do you subscribe? If you do what was your favorite product this month?

I’ll see everyone on Tuesday/Wednesday for another post!

            -MJ

What was in my April 2019 ipsy Glam Bag ?

Well I have had ipsy for a year now so that means that I have to start putting the year on the post as to not confuse it with my April ipsy Glam Bag from last year. That’s right there is now a year’s worth of Glam Bag unbaggings here on the blog. That’s really hard to believe that I have even had my blog a year but I have, my blogiversary was in mid-March so happy one year to this mishmash of crazy!

So what was in my bag? Well I will get to that in just one moment. First a side note, they lifted the wait list for the Glam Bag Plus and I jumped on it, ipsy is my OG beauty subscription so I have some loyalty to them and I like the idea of the Glam Bag Plus through them. My first one will be May so look forward to that when it is eventually posted it after I get it in the mail.

The card was back this month with a description of the products and I was really excited because I missed it a lot last month.

The bag, first and foremost just screams summer! at you and I was so happy when this bag design was announced. It has lemons on it with the outline and the coloring not matching up which is a really fun artistic choice.

On to the products so I don’t drag this out for 3,000 words, it has happened before and it is destined to happen again.

Doucce Punk Volumizing Mascara:

Doucce is one of my favorite mascaras and I have gotten a few in the past through ipsy the first one was with my May bag last year and again in the Holiday Collection, normally I don’t like repeats but I was excited to see the brand with a different kind of mascara and I hope that it holds up to the expectations that MaxLash set for Doucce mascaras.

Firma Beauty 103 Angled Contour Brush:

It’s been a while since I have gotten a brush in my glam bag, I think the last time was February, I honestly though it was a lot more time than that but I looked back and sure enough, it was February. I do not contour much but I love the brush and just because I am truly terrible at contouring doesn’t mean I shouldn’t practice and try to get better so this brush is a step in the right direction. I honestly don’t even think I have an angled brush and that is pretty hard for me to believe because of the flower pot full of makeup brushes I have in my bathroom.

In case you were wondering about the flower pot and yes all of my mascaras and eyeliners are in a beaker.

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Aqua Balm:

The container proudly says it’s even okay for sensitive skin so that’s exciting, granted with lotion or moisturizer it is hard to see how your skin is actually going to react with such a small amount of the new product. I love watermelon so it’s exciting, it has Vitamins A, C, and E as well as aloe vera and cucumber so it is probably very soothing which I am really looking forward to actually giving it a go.

Tarte (Double Duty Beauty) Base Tape Hydrating Primer:

If you have been around a while y’all know I love me some Tarte, it is a great brand and I have never had a problem with any of their products, I use Shape Tape concealer and the Tartist Pro palette is one of my all-time favorites. This is new so I am excited to see if it is worth its weight in actually doing what it says it does. It has jojoba oil in it so that means it’s super hydrating and I am on board for that.

Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment in Honeydew:

It’s beautiful, I am going to start out with that and at the moment because I just swatched it I am trying really hard not to get it on my keyboard as I type. It says that it can be used as an eyeshadow or a highlighter and it is popping so I would for sure test it out as a highlighter. The card in the bag says that it is coral pink but it looks more bronzy and rose gold/copper to me and I will never ever be upset about that shade. It’s really nice and it is a great shade for spring rolling into summer.

Over all, loved the bag as I usually do, ipsy never fails to impress me, I have yet to be disappointed in any of my glam bags, there may be a product here or there that I am not a fan of but overall I always love getting the metallic pink package in my mailbox each month.

If you want to check out the rest of my ipsy unmaggings from this year you can: January, February, and March.

Do you subscribe, if you do what’s your favorite product you got? Got any tips for someone who can’t contour?

I’ll see everyone on Saturday or Sunday because it’s birthday and Easter weekend and I don’t know how close I am going to be to my laptop.

Have a good rest of your week either way!
