Hey hey, it’s MJ, 

            I am literally and legitimately writing this a few hours after writing my last Glam Bag post, I just felt like writing it now because why not. Get it out of the way and then I can work on another post later. I honestly have no idea what my other post will be, but here we are. 

            I don’t really feel like I have much to say before I start going through what was in the bag so I might as well just get into it. 

The Bag: 

            I like this one better than the regular Glam Bag, I like the color and the tiny golden designs that are printed on it, this bag does feel a little bit more regal. I really do like the drawstring bags that we have been getting with the GB+. 

The Products:

Best Face Forward Balancing Serum: 

            I am currently using their face wash and it is amazing, I am really enjoying it and I am hoping that this one is just a good. I love a good serum even though I have only been using a serum with any sort of regularity for about the last year or so. I moisturize every time I wash my face, but I am less regular when it comes to everything else like serum, eye cream, and toner. I try really hard to have those in my routine frequently but sometimes I just don’t feel like doing a million steps after I get out of the shower. 

Il Makiage Dirty Talk Matte Lip Color in Elwa:

            I really like this lipstick; I need to see it on to know if it is a shade that I can actually wear. I love the detail on the lipstick itself, it’s super cool. I do like the shade in the tube, but that doesn’t really mean much to me if I don’t know what it looks like on. I would have swatched it while I was writing this part, but alas, I am not home at the moment so as soon as I get home I will swatch it and give my final verdict on whether or not it’s a shade for me. The tube itself is also magnetic which is amazing, I do like the shade with the right rest of the face, I would call it a little terracotta which I like. 

Mintbiology Rejuvenating Face Masks (5):

            I love sheet masks, I have not been using them as much as I did in the past so I have a small crate full of them in my fridge because that’s where I store a lot of my skin care that I am not currently using or have unopened because I want to use them, I just can’t find the inner peace to actually lay on my bed and meditate with a face mask on. I just can’t find that sen space that I used to be really good at finding. I probably should go looking for it again. 

Uvé Beauty Makeup Blending Trio:

            Who doesn’t love beauty sponges? I do not throw mine away as often as I should, which is a problem but I now have plenty of them to keep me in beauty sponges for at least another several months if not a full year or more. I like having extras and backups because I do go through them and I don’t want to pay $20 per like you would with a brand name Beauty Blender. I also feel the desperate need to have a beauty sponge washer, they are so cute and so kitschy but they look like they actually do a pretty good job cleaning the sponges because I am terrible at it.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Vision Flush in Tiara: 

            I had to go on the website to remember if this was a highlighter or not, I chose this one as well as the last two and I love a good highlighter. I need to swatch this one as well because usually I use a powder highlighter not a liquid highlighter but I am all for change and trying new products. Also, it is no secret that I have a vast collection of highlighters that I don’t use enough. I am currently hitting pan on an Ofra highlighter at the moment and I am loving it. 

            Well, there it is, my November Glam Bag Plus. I am excited to see what December will bring because this one, like the Glam Bag, was very middle of the road for me. I still feel like the choices I am getting when it comes to the personalization are not really things that I want. I have been reaching for straws lately for things that I actually really want when I am given the choice, I don’t feel like the choices fit me all that well and while that’s fine, it’s also kind of annoying because I pay for this every month.
