What was in My November 2021 IPSY Glam Bag

Hey hey, it’s MJ,

Sorry I took a week off, I got a cold and I got a job, well full time instead of subbing anymore, so here we are. I am officially in a district and I am so thankful and happy. I am also sick with a cold though so my whole body is just hating me at the moment. I should be over it soon, you know just in time for a week off of school.

I got my Glam Bag and my GB+ both in a few days and that was well over a week ago, I should have written these posts last weekend but I was not feeling well at all and I just couldn’t bring myself to write them. I have to allow myself time to recharge and make sure that I can function like a person at work.

Onto the post though because I need to get it all out there and just be done with this and the GB+ here soon.

The Bag:

I know the theme this month is “Royal Treatment” and I like the green velet feeling bag, it’s nice and basic.

The Products:

Belle An Argent The Secret Power Concealer Brush:

I rarely use a brush to do concealer, I usually just use my beauty sponge and so this one will just become am eye brush or maybe I will try and figure out how to use it as a concealer brush. I love a good brush and this one seems pretty good, it’s vegan and cruelty free which are both wins in my book.

Dito Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara in Black:

Okay so I don’t actually know how the brand name is pronounced but my entire thought when I read it was Ditto, you know the Pokémon, because that is where my brain goes. You want weird references, come find me and I will dazzle you with my obscure pop culture references. I love mascara, I have so many and I love all of them. I am using the Beauty for Real one at the moment and there was for sure a learning curve with it because it doesn’t dry as fast as a lot of the others I have used. So, I am really excited to give this one a try after fighting with the one I am currently using. It’s got a curved brush and for the most part I have found those are usually really amazing, so here’s hoping.

Naturecan Restore CBD Hand Cream:

Well, I can tell you that I will use this because tis the season for dry hands all the time. Plus, all the hand sanitizer that we use in school my hands get super dry this time of year. The lotion I have on my desk at the moment is Hempz so it has hemp seed oil in it as well and I love how it makes my hands feel. I am really looking forward to trying this hand cream because it has cocoa butter and hemp seed oil in it is as well.

Origins Cheeks and Balances Frothy Face Wash:

I love Origins, it’s one of those brands that I see all the time but never buy. I also like that this is clean beauty; I love clean beauty because usually it doesn’t seem to affect my skin like other products do. I am hoping that this one doesn’t have an adverse effect on my skin because it does have mint essential oil in it and that can be touch and go for me when it comes to facial wash.

Unicorn Glow Long Wear Primer:

I like the mane of the brand, that’s really fun. I don’t really wear primers though, I should more often but I have a really strict makeup routine every day and this looks to be a tinted primer, I am hoping that it really isn’t because I cannot use tinted primer, they are usually too warm toned for me. I am hoping that it works out for me because maybe I should add a primer to my daily makeup routine.

Well, that is it for my Glam Bag this month, it was a lot of skin care, which I am totally okay with but there wasn’t any stand out winner in this bag. Really run of the mill for me, which is totally fine.

If you want to see what else I’ve gotten this year, you totally can! January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October!

I will be back later in the week with another post so until then I hope that everyone stays safe, happy, and heathy!

            -MJ
