These all come from Simply You Soap and Candle Co.

So I got these as an early birthday present and I could not help but write a post about them. I don’t even think I can use them because they are so pretty, this isn’t going to be a long post but I just want to touch on the artistry of the person who made these soaps because they are truly works of art. Also they smell absolutely amazing and I can’t get over the fact that some of them look good enough to eat.
This is not sponsored, none of my content ever is, if it was I would let you know. I just got these as a birthday present and I wanted to share because they are really cool. Like I said they all come from a place called Simply You Soap and Candle Co. in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. My dad’s family is from around that area so this was my cousin’s idea of a perfect gift and she was correct. I really like artisan soaps and products like that so this was a really thoughtful gift.
Four of them currently are not on their website but the other two are as well as a variety of other products. Three of them are bar soaps and three are more decorative and the decorative ones might be in store only (so if you find yourself in Western Pennsylvania in the Pittsburgh area, stop in.) I do want to visit there myself because their website makes the store look really cute.
The decorative soaps I plan on buying a bell jar or a cake plate for so I can display them and make it look real cute.

I honestly thought with the unicorn rubber duckie soap was really a rubber duckie stuck into the top of some rainbow soap; it was and I was so happy about it. It smells like grapefruit, and I don’t even think I will be able to bring myself to use it and ruin how cute it is.
The other two decorative soaps are cheesecake pieces one is raspberry and I think the other one is a salted caramel chocolate but I don’t actually know because they aren’t on the website and no one provided me with the information on what it actually is. They smell like I said, amazing and they look almost good enough to eat even though they are clearly labeled with Do not ingest. Which is super important because it’s soap and you do not want to eat soap. Yes, I put them in a pie plate because I thought that was clever.
The actual soaps that I got are also really pretty and smell amazing, how many times can I say those things in one blog post, I guess we will see.
So the ones you can actually get on their website as of the time of writing this is the Black Raspberry Vanilla which I love so much, it smells like it should with those notes without being artificial, it reminds me of walking into a bakery and smelling a blackberry pie which I am never mad about.

The next one that can be found on the website is Love Spell which has notes of orange, peach, cherry blossom, and white jasmine and the orange is probably the most powerful note which I am not unhappy about, the smell is pleasant. I wish that the internet had like smell-o-vision or something so I could actually demonstration how good these smell.

The last one is called Watermelon and it is scented like, as you guessed it, watermelon. It is for sure a really summery scent and I love it, I also really like the fact that the soap looks like a slice of watermelon. It like the rest of them doesn’t smell artificial and it is simply beautiful.
Just a soap appreciation post, that’s it. I love all the hard work that goes into creating things like this because the attention to details is phenomenal and I could not be happier that I got to experience these soaps first hand. You can check out their website and see all of the other products they sell at http://www.simplyyouscc.com
I’ll see everyone hopefully Tuesday, if not it’ll be Wednesday with another post!
